can i use the s2000 valve springs and retainers in the k20a2? i was reading something about stage 2 cams and saw something that mentioned this but dunno for sure, any help is appreciated...thanks

 

I had a post about this issue too. But from wut i heard is that you can use it but you have to use different cam shaft. but your using skunk2 so i guess that would be a problem. but just incase, you should ask skunk2 about that.

yes, just make sure u have the right keepers if changing that **** around too.

As far as the valve springs, I would go with what the cam manufacturer advises.....Some manufacturers design their cams for stock valvetrain (Tokoru) and others recommend an OEM combo consisting of the type-R inner spring and S2000 outer spring (IPS).........

 

umm keepers.. valve stem locks i guess they could be called. the two little claws if you will that lock the stem in place to keep it atached to the retainer.

 

i think i read on k20a.com about using s2k parts in the k because they are very similar.
