I own a 97' RS and I want to know if the following alternator will fit?
The part numbers for stock alternator between V-Tec and Non-Vtec models, stock, are different.

Ok, just for reference purposes...
I changed it today(on a lift) and everything went smooth. This alternator listed as a GSR was not offset with the crank pulley and the clip fit perfectly.
The easiest way to remove the alternator from the engine bay is to remove the driver's side axel AND intermediate shaft. At first I was going to remove the lower alternator bracket, but one bolt is extremely hard to reach from the top or bottom of the car.
I hope this helps someone.
