Hey guys im having some issues with my RPM's dropping and clutch is making noise.

Lets start with the RPM's.

I get in the car, shut the door and start the car. After the car is warmed up and been driven around to normal operating temp. I pull up to a stoplight and push down the clutch, the RPM's drop down to 400-500 then back up when I release the clutch.

Clutch noise:

Well about a week ago I knew I had the throw out bearing issue. But last Sunday night I was driving home and I was accelerating on the on ramp and redlined 2nd gear then shifted into third fourth fifth etc. (I didn't redline all the gears just second.)

Well when I got on the offramp and got to the light I put the clutch in and the "throw out bearing noise" got WAY worse or something happened. Thats also when the RPM problem started.


What did I do and what needs to be fixed? Thanks

 

Sounds like you know what you did. You have a broken throw out bearing.

 

So I just need to order a new one from acura and replace it?

 

might as well buy a new clutch and do that while your at it... some clutchs kits come with a bearing
