b16a in da teg
i got a obd 0 b16a in my 90 integra coupe. I'm wondering if the stock b18a alternator will work as a replacement?
Also i wanted to put a block heater in it. Am i able to do this? What should i get one off of and what is required to install it?
One more thing lol. The distributor is japanese specific. With parts from what can i rebuild it with? Or do i just have to by a rebuilt one from a company?

Re: b16a in da teg
If I remember correctly, the B18 Alt won't work. When my JDM B16 (obd-0) alternater died on me, I ended up taking it to an alternator shop to have them rebuild it, since the ones I kept getting from the auto parts stores weren't fitting correctly.

that's interesting. I went to a parts store today and measured up the two with a tape measure and it all checked out.
