bent frame
Well I've recieved an 97 ls intergra from my uncle for free, at 119k with minor dings and dents, but what the heck, it's free. So, when they were driving it from Seattle to where I live, they hit a deer one the way. Its antlers poke a hole through my radiator but I got that fixed. The problem is that the frame on top of the headlights is bent slightly, which I never noticed until I bought a new hood for it because the old one had a big *** dent on it. The new hood closed but there was about an inch of gap along the lining where you screw the bumper on, located on top of the headlights. I want to get it fix and I want to get it professionally done but that means money done the drain. Any alternatives?
If just the top part is hardly bent, which it sounds like it isn't bent much at all if the hood still closes. Then all you need to do is find a way to bend it back, I bent mine back with a metal pole and rope for free then got a 2000 dollar check from insurance.

What it sounds like you need is a new radiator support.. you can buy a new one drill out the spot welds and have the new one welded in.. I personally would have it professionally fixed so im not going to suggest any alternatives.. except sounds like its time for a jdm front end conversion
Buy the core support and I'll be up there in a couple months and will weld it in for you for free. Not entirely for free actually, I'll do it for a hot chocolate since I know it'll be cold in March. Seriously, it'll take me twenty minutes to weld it up assuming you've already got it fitted. If it's not fitted, we're probalby looking at an hour or so to make sure it's correct.
Budget wise, get one from a junkyard and you're out $21.50 ($20 for the support and $1.50 for the hot chocolate).

listen to him, take a headlight out on the side that is damaged more, attached a chain, then attach a chain to a tree and backup until its in the right spot. as long as the damage is not on the lower end of the core support (ie frame rail damage) this will work
