Ignition Switch Problem
I installed a new head unit in my CRX the other day, then when I drove down the road, I saw smoke coming out from the steering wheel!
The car turns on fine with my remote start but when I do it with my key, the car doesn't stay on. I turn the key and it turns on, but when I let go of the key to let it return to the on position, it turns off.
I disconnected the head unit just incase I messed up with the wiring somehow. Has this ever happen to anyone? Any suggestions? Appreciate the help ahead of time!
***PROBLEM RESOLVD... It was a bad ignition switch, bought a new one at Auto Zone...

honda ignition switch do go bad here and there, but i would check your wires to your stereo deck just to be sure.
if u search for honda civic ignition switch recall you'll find out that honda did have problems with their ignition switch's.
but in your case i think its just wore out. if i remember right they arent that expensive.
