yeah i got a swap in my 90 hatch and i need some tips on how to remove and put the new ones.. and does anybody got a D16Z6 head for sale? i wanna swap the economy head out cut i want more power! 92HP is too low..

 

first thing I would do is set your motor to TDC. then just to be on the safe side i would put a mark on the cam gear and a coordinating mark on the head itself. same thing with the crank pulley.

then you have to take off the crank pulley, the upper and lower timing belt covers, loosen the timing belt tensioner, then remove the timing belt. unbolt the water pump. replace the gasket. then do everything in reverse. when putting the pulley and gear back on, make sure the crank and cam are set to TDC and your marks line up. That way your timing will be correct.

did you forgot about having to get the engine mount out of the way? the belt kinda surrounds it lol.
