I'm planning on doing an engine swap eventually and I thought all the exhaust components (header, exhaust, cat) are different for different engines, but then I just heard that exhausts are car specific, as in any exhaust for a crx will work fine on whatever engine happens to be in it. Which is true?

 

losta questions b4 you get one..boost, n/a? what motor?..how much power you trying to get outa the motor?...

 

I know that most exhausts are interchangable for engines...but yes they are car specific.
