Default Quick exhaust question

I have a 93 Civic CX w/ stock motor. I've upgraded just about every aspect of the suspension. . .and I am now saving for the swap in December. My question is this. . .my local shop wants me to put an exhaust on. . .I know that I will need a new exhaust for the swap. . .but should I wait to put the exhaust on then. . .or should I put it on now? Will I see any difference in performance now? Is the 5Zigen Fireball a decent exhaust.

Thanks

You can get the exhaust now but they might have to modify it later. If it were up to me I would wait.

It doesn't matter when you get it. What's your worry?

Get it later that way they will not have to modify it to match the new engine.

?? What difference does it make?

If it has to be modified for the new engine, then it will have to be modified regardless of when it gets put on

I just didn't want to look like a total "kook" rolling around with an exhaust. . .then not having the engine under the hood to back it up. Plus the funds are kind of tight. . .so it would be a squeeze to have it put on! Also, I was wondering if it would make up for the power that I am going to loose when i put on my 16's w/ toyo proxe t1-s's.

buy it later cause you're gonna have to buy a header and cat. converter too. Your cat right now is built into the exhaust manifold. you can keep your b-pipe on, but that would be pointless. if you did that you'd have a header, cat. con., and rear section. just buy it all at the same time w/ the swap. you never know, by them a new style or brand may pop out that you like/want.
