dead battery/choppy idle

dead battery/choppy idle
i left my lights on for about 8 hrs which completely killed me batter. i clutch started it got it running again. it runs good but when i come to a stop light the idle varies between 600-1100 for about 5 seconds. then it goes back to normal ideal 600. anyone know why or what i can do to fix this... thanks
