Default EFB2 Cable to Hydro W/Twin Disc

Does anyone run a twin disc with a Cable to Hydro conversion ? What is your pedal pressure like? I installed mine tonight, the pedal pressure seems pretty excessive.
If i could, could you post a picture?

if you do decide to get a twin disk for your ef you better upgrade your pedal or reinforce it. it will snap like a twig really easy.

LOL yeah i just snapped the spot welds on a skylines clutch pedal just before xmas....we ended up laying down some beads with the welder and the pedal feels better then ever, if using a heavy clutch i would recomend doing the same it will take all the flex out of the assembly and make a world of difference.

Can we keep this on topic please?
This is for EF's with the EFB2 cable to hydro kit, running Twin Discs, trying to get input on that setup and that setup only. As stated up top, it already is installed.

my answer is yes if its anything like other vehicles it will be a lot heavier....my advice is that it may be worthwhile to take out your pedal assembly and reinforce the spot welds with bead welds...

Thanks, It still seems like it is binding and too heavy at the conversion point....
I would love for someone with some familiarity on the kit to chime in..

Yes it is the full Hasport EFB2 Kit, All Hasport mount and the Hasport conversion. I may have to go get a new cable, this one is somewhat old, but another thing i noticed is that the upper cable holder flexes a lot as well.

yeah you may want stiffen up items like that as much as possible and it would not hurt if you were able to stiffen up the clutch pedal assembly. also it may not hurt calling hasport or the clutch company to see if this may be a common issue.

I read that one already, doesn't look too promising. They actually ended up going full cable. Ys1 with the gsr hydro internals. The twin disc is a CC twin.

Just how you have the bracket's set up etc so that i can make sure mine is rite, i am allmost positive it is , i just want to make sure. Does your top cable bracket flex when you push in the clutch? How tight did you do the allen head bolt on the pivot part?
Mine is just ridiculous to push, its pretty retarded.

I might need a new cable as well. Mabey that might be binding or something, the car sat for two years with no engine etc, so im sure the cable is dried out and nasty.

it sounds like your allen head bolt might be too tight. i also dont see why that bracket should flex. ill go outside and take a picture after i get done eating this subway sandwich.

MMM subway sandwich.
I might try and loosen up that Allen head bolt, but i did a little bit already and it helped, but not a ton. Are you running a pedal stop on the bottom of your pedal as well?I can't see why the upper bracket would be flexing because it is so hard ya know, there has to be something binding somewhere. I know the clutch is in rite so that isn't the issue. I am allmost about to get that innovated or hasports little cable>hydro actuator.

yeah my subway went hard. i do not have a pedal stop. the upper bracket should not be flexing, when you remove the clutch cable from the cable to hydro conversion does the cable feel like it flows freely or does it have a bind in it. i have not had any experience with the other cable to hydro conversion so i cant comment on that.

i took a few pictures and this is as best as they came out with what minimal space i had to take the pictures they are not the best but i hope they can help you out.

It looks like i may have found the problem, i will have to call hasport tomorrow and have a talk with them. Where the actuating arm bolts to the rotational assembly that the cable goes to with the allen head, its grinding and binding where they meet. where the allen head goes through and bolts to the rotation assembly, where they meet the rotation assembly has slid inside the actuating arm. And caused it to grind and everything, so that has to be the issue. Keep in mind that this hasn't been driving, and i pushed the pedal down mabey 10 times in the car, the car hasn't even started yet.
