like the topic says, im trying to figure out what mirrors i can replace to see out of my side mirrors. i have the JDM powerfolding mirrors on my car and they are made for a RHD ef and i want to replace them with LHD mirrors because im getting tired of having to lean side to side to see out of my mirrors. someone help please.

Try aiming the mirrors properly? And why did you replace the stock mirrors in the first place?

you can only aim them so far. and i replaced them cause they were the jdm power folding mirrors. its pretty neat to make your mirrors fold in by a button.

are they the same shape as the usdm ones? if not, brnig the mirrors to your local window and glass place, 40 bucks and you should be covered.

oh really? the thing is that it is powerfolding and power mirrors being able to move with a the switch. ill try that. thanks

I have power folding mirrors that came complete on a set of 1991 CRX SIR doors. It's very true that the alignment is way out of wack for the driver (LHS). Even fully adjusted, its not at the correct position for normal driving.

did you change your mirrors? which mirrors did you use if you did?

Wow that is really good to know. I love power folding mirrors, but if you can't use them then thats so useless... How would a glass shop be able to fix that? Maybe use a power mirror module from a different Honda, so they move around properly?

the movement of the mirrors isn't the issue, it's the fact that since they sit on the opposite side of the car, the mirror themselves are switched, ie. the convex mirror is now on the driver side, and the flat imrror is on the passenger. this obviously causes a problem.

as i previously suggested, bring the mirrors down to your local glass/mirror shop and they should be able to cut something for you for around 40 bucks.

Cant the mirror shop just switch the drivers mirror with the passengers mirror?

you need to remove the gutts and motor from the jdm mirror and install it into to the usdm mirrors and all will be well again

A lot of European countries are LHD and they got power folding mirrors in their EF's (EE's, actually)

Your right about them having LHD mirrors, and they are power, but not power folding.

I'm not sure how it is on the hatches, but on top of the RH/LH convex issue the sedan mirror (the actual glass mirror) is a slightly different shape.
To remove the mirror you need to heat it up with a heat gun. The adhesive on the back side will then get gummy and you can slowly pull the mirror off. Careful you don't melt the housing with the heat gun.
You can make a template or take that mirror to a shop and have a new one cut.

Now, even if you get the new glass cut I think you will have a problem. I believe the mirrors are angled in towards the car differently since the driver is on the RH. Most likely you will have to figure a way to angle the mirrors properly or somehow make the entire housing angle differently. I would think gutting the housing and changing the mechanics inside would be the proper way.
