i have a 96 ek hatch swap into a 96 civic ex ( full swap, includ. EWH )

i have decided to use a obd2-obd1 conversion and a p28 ecu

for some reason my check engine light is on
i have replace the o2 sensor

my power seem to be short (lights flick)
and the car seem to blog and high idle

any help would be greatly appreciate

If your check engine light is on did you jump it to see what the code is? Jump it and see what code it gives you.

 

my obd2 code reader couldn't read it because im using a P28 ECU

can i do a obd1 check?

 

You wouldnt read it with one of those scanners. Jump it as you would with an obd1 car (2 pin plug to the lower right of the glove box)
