Ok so i was talking to a local shop about doing a swap for my friend in his eg hatch and his ef sedan. First off he said k series cant bar/ref in any car besides the 01+ civics and that a h22 prelude wont bar in anything either. can you get a obd1 h22 to ref into a ef sedan? could you get a obd1 ls into a ef sedan? PLEASE LET ME KNOW

 

both k and h series have been reffed in obd0 and obd1 cars

 

what are the hardest parts to get passable with a h/k swap in a obd0/1 car? please be specific if u can

 

h is easy just like a gsr , the problem with a k is the fuel less return system and you cannot run k pro so you must spend the money from honda for a factory immobilizer or find a wreaked rsx

 

if i was putting the h into the ef could i modify the stock wiring harness or would it be best to swap that out with the lude harness? i'd have to already run vtec wires but are the other sensors in an obd1 lude similiar?
