Icon2 power window electrical problem??

In my 99 civic the driver side power window does not want to roll down. the passanger side works fine, i thought it was the motor but it did not work then it started to work again but now it just doesnt want to roll down, i dont really know much about electrical but i check the fuse and thats ok, and also i checked the switch and nothing seems to be wrong with those, before i take it in to get looked at i just wanted to know what you guys think the problem might be.
thanks

Dirt in the track has kept my DC2's power window from working at times. Cleaning the track fixed it.

Though, I have also had my switch short out, destroying the wiring, motor, and regulator in the process, but I have been dumb enough to have the window open in the rain and I know the switch got wet (autocross in the rain).

It's really common for the wires in the harness to break at the hinge- from years of opening the door, etc. First symptom of this is usually the window not working

Get yourself an ETM and start tracing wires!

When you say " does not want to roll down" does that mean if you flick the switch to up it will move a little, [meaning up is working but down is not]?

If so the problem is the switch, it could be just dirty/burnt contacts or the "Auto Down" module.

I would check the switch first. 94
