like the title says whats the largest brakes that i could put on the front of my EG and still clear my 13 inch bogarts? thanks guys.

 

I have GSR brakes on mine and they barely fit.

 

Most common drag wheels for Hondas are designed to fit around the GSR brakes as the biggest brakes used. Aftermarket calipers, rotors, etc. is a touchy thing to start modifying since it complicates the choices of wheels you can use.

 

so i can stick GSR brakes on my EG and they will clear? so next question is ho wmuch larger are GSR brakes then the stock dx? and is there a DIY around some where that tells me what i need to do this?

gsr brakes will clear 13" bogarts. with the correct back space, and spacer there is no mods needed.
has been covered many times.

 

We had to slap on a 10mm spacer to get it to clear the GS-R calipers.

 

most bogarts that were made for hondas, come with a spacer either welded or bolted to the inner wheel for gsr caliper provisions.

any way thanks guys i ordered some 01 GSR knuckles today so should have upgraded brakes in a week or 2.

 

I ran a 1/2" spacer to clear the Bogarts on my GSR, the spacer was already mounted so I dont know if they would of fit without it, but I suspect they wouldnt.

 

mine have a spacer on the backside as this man has said gsr brakes
