ok after car is running at normal temp i turn a/c on and it blows cold but motor revs at like 200 rpm.. when driveing and let off gas to stop, car sometimes turns off at the light... whats the problem?

 

either the idle set screw on the tb is set too low or you have a faulty iacv (intake air control valve). to test the idle level, with the car running, unplug the electrical connector from the iacv (it's the extra little thing on the front of the intake manifold; it has one electrical connector and two small hoses (coolant) running to it). what happens?

 

could also maybe be a faulty a/c compressor...

 

my car was doing the exact same thing- and it got worst as time progressed. it got to the point where when i would clutch it , it would go dead. of course i never figured out the problem due to the fact my motor died (RIP) a cpl weeks afterwards. So if u do figure out the problem, please post it so i can check that on mine when/if i get the motor back working.

my old motor used to that because of an oil pressure problem...does your oil light flicker on???
