Default z6 swap is sick

first off the car was a 89 dx crx. It is now a z6 with a6 piston, y8
manifold, kamikaze headers, 88-89 teg ecu and teh vafc is not in yet. the
only code that I am pulling is a code 19 for some auto tranny sensor but
the car is a 5 speed. I did take a wire out of b11 and b2 per the mpfi
swap instuctions because i needed the pins for b10 and b12, do I need to
hook these wires back up even though the car goes not have an auto tranny,
why is the wire there in the first place if it is a 5 speed?
second I can not get my idle to go below 1200-1400. the car is
completely warm but it just wont drop down. the way I hooked up the eavc
on the mainfold and the idle sensor on the throttle body is the manifold
to the front connection on the throttle body, the back connection to the
eavc and the eavc back to the manifold, is this right? Timing is dead on
stock and it has a tank full of 93 if that matters. I unplugged the eavc
and tried to turn the screw by the tb intake opening but could only get
the idle to go up. any ideas anyone? I cant stand having to drive my
unlces stealth why my crx is sitting lonely in his garage

thanks
Andy

I'm curious to know...... do the valve reliefs on the a6 pistons hit the valves or does it clear just fine. Also do the pistons sit flush with the block(when at the top of its stroke) or if they do still out, how far do they stick out.

not to sound like an *** but if the valve reliefs didnt clear the valves then i would not have a high idle problem my problems would be mich bigger. the z6/a6 combo is basically a mini-me. the pistons sit flush with the top of the cylinders at tdc

I'm not a pro, but the AUTO ECU sounds like the right answer to me... I know it sound like a pain to find out, but high idle from not having the torque convertor drag on it ( like in a auto ), and the auto codes flashing !! I doubt the five-speed versions of the ECU even could flash that code if it wanted to... "check-ECU" light should be popping up over your head..

On another note, I'd bet it runs like a **** !! Spray it !!! ZEX+D-frankin= faster than B !!

what year is the intake manifold?

i put on a y2k Y8 intake manifold and did not know of its "air assist" properties.. so i have a vacuum leak that makes my idle high.
