Walbro fuel pump on stock 92 prelude H23
I have a pretty much stock H23 with just intake and full exhaust. is it okay to put in a 255LPH fuel pump on my stock engine and would it change anything by the way it drives...MPG, etc.
Thank you.
Thank you.
i would get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a b&m fuel pressure gauge....set it to factory specs...otherwise im pretty sure you are going to be running rich due to the increased pressure and volume....
should be fine, after all you regulator regulates what pressure your fuel system sees. Do you have a reason to install the fuel pump? Your stock pump unless defective is more than adiquite and OEM is usually the way to go with our honda's
im turboing it soon and i want to put it in just to get one more thing out of the way for me to do. so you think it will be fine? anyone else?
thank you.

Put a gauge on your fuel pressure and check the reading before and after the install of the fuel pump. If it's the same you should be fine, otherwise get an adjustable regulator and set if right. You will need a gauge for a turbo engine anyway...
hawkze is opinion is the end of the line. Your not gonna get any better advise. Even get an FPR with a guage (buy a quality one too, not an ebay special.) So yeah in the end you should get your fuel pump with an FPR as well as a guage of some sort. Than you have complete control and have nothing to worry about period (as long as you install everything right lol)
Oh i know thats good advise and thats why i came on here bec i was not sure if it will run rich due to the increased pressure and volume. people are wrong sometimes so i just wanted to here everyones side. you know?
Thank you.
