Please help. Fruad Check Question
I have a guy that has been emailing me that wants to buy some rims off me that i have on craigslist. he wants to send me a check and wait for it to clear before picking them up and then have a deliver person pick them up cause he is not in the area. quesetion is has there been any problems with frauds going on that envolve a guy writing a check and wait for it to clear and then picking them up and then the back coming back and saying it was no good. i knew there was this type of thing with money orders but not checks. tell me if any of you have had this happen to you.
Here is the email from the guy. another thing that is weird is this email here was a attachment.
Thanks for getting back to me..I really appreciate your response to my earlier mail.like i said i will like to buy this item so pls do withdraw the advert from Craigslist. I will also like you to know that i will be paying by check due to the fact that i will not be able to meet up with the cash and local pick up.I will have my mover to come for the pickup as soon as the check cleared and cashed..I will need you to provide me with the following information to facilitate the mailing of the check.
1.Your full name2.Your mailing address be it residential or office address.3.Your phone number.4.email address.
Hope to hear back from
