What do i need to do to make them fit? It looks like the rails on the del sol mount to the side of the seat and the civics are to the bottom. Is there a difference between years?

what year are both cars im pretty sure that any seat from a 92-2000 civic or del sol should fit in any other civic or del sol
just take the seat out and try its only 4 14 mm bolts to take the seats out but before you rip the seat out just make sure there is no plugs under the seats because sometimes there are srs wiring attached to the bottom of he seat

 

i have sol seats in my eg they do not fit right you need to change the bracket or you can only do the front 2 bolts or back 2 witch that is not safe but it works and there 10-12mm not 14 i think.

 

I already know they wont fit, there in the car. I could only screw in 2 bolts.

 

you gotta swap the brackets its not hard

 

Del sol seats will fit even without swapping the rails. You just gotta torque the seat to fit in the bolts.

 

Its not hard to swap rails
Take off the side plastics, take the rails off the sol seats
Put the civic rails on, re insall plastics

Took me like 20 mins tops
Super sketchy to only have 2 or 3 bolts holding in a vital part of your car like a seat
I only have 3 bolts holding my gsr seats in my ek, no bueno

 

Thanks for the info, I'll swap them out today.

 

i have them but have not installed them yet. But I was told by the pros that you just have to swap the inner rails for each seat. So the rails closes to the center console. Not the outside rails. Try that first to save you time.

lol, how pissed would the OP be if he had thought that statement was true. Only to realize once he had the seats in the car ready to bolt down they don't line up?
