Re: del sol seats into civic (harwood39)
hehe well, first off, you have to make sure you have the correct Del Sol seats that have similar rails to the kind your Civic seats have. (Don't worry, I believe the more common Sol seats are the ones with the similar rails) You will know right away once you flip both seats over and compare the bolt locations. The rails will swap right over. There should be like 2 bolts that bolt from underneath the seat on one side, and the other side has a bolt on the side of the rail I believe. That should be enough info for now, and do the passenger seat first, in case you run into any mishaps when taking the seat rails off. You also don't have to undo the wire/cable when taking off the rails, you can leave it connected across to the opposite rail.

The bolts are on the sides of the rails, which include the back seat lean... Basically you are swapping the metal and keeping the del sol back seat part and the bottom seat part.
Then you need to tighten the seats back into the car correctly... I want to say the order of tightening the bolts is front outside, front inside, back outside, back inside...

Didn't check how many bolts went in, but my friend has del sol seats in his eg hatch and they bolted right in. This morning I just put some del sol seats in my ek hatch. I had to swap both rails off each seat. The entire rail off the seatbelt buckle side and on the door side you only have to take the bottom slider off. It's a hassle and can take a while to do if you run into dirty rails or rusted bolts, but it is worth it.

Re: del sol seats into civic (Ricey McRicerton)
sorry for digging up an ancient thread but I plan on doing this if i can pick up some seats soon. but just to be sure... all i need is the del sol seats and not the rails right? I can just take the hardware already in there on my 96 hatch and bolt them right up? if so I'm so there. thanks
