My car will idle around 2K off a cold crank, but after warming up, it will return to around just below 1K and be fine. Is there something I could do to fix this issue? It's more annoying than anything...

 

I have the same issue it's been like -10-30 in the morning when i go to work, My car will go up to 2k rpms for about 2 mins then go down to 850rpms I think it's just normal, block is cold prolly just for warm like it does. Mine sometimes bounce's from 2k to 1.5k for like 45 seconds on cold start if i drive real quick and dont let it warm for 3 mins or so

 

OP, its normal. When its cold as ***** my car is near 2k on start up.
