Default D16y7 idle

So on cold start my d16y7 idles at 2,000 rpms for a few the slowly goes down from there. Is this to high? My 07 Si does this but it revs alot higher so it seems normal. Is it ok?

It sounds normal. How cold is it where you live when you start the car cold?

It idles like that just to get car warmed up during cold weather like 40F.
You could get rid of the idle by removing the FITV and block off the holes in the Intake Mani or TB.
I forgot where it bolts on. lol
