just tighten the clutch cable, and if it still does it...it's most likely synchros

Replacing every synchronizer set will net you a bill with a 4-digit figure.

If every gear is grinding, it's not a synchronizer problem. It's likely clutch cable adjustment or a worn clutch disc. Also check the fluid level in the transmission and make sure it isn't leaking.

Is the transmission making any sort of whining noises at any time?

When I step on the gas pedal I get the whining noise, when I release the pedal it goes away, WTF?

I just picked up a b16a rebuilt tranny from a reputable shop. They put a new clutch, resurfaced the flywheel, no grinds, shifts like butter. I get a little whining noise when I step on the pedal. Should I worry about it?

In every gear? Including 4th and 5th?

Sounds like you either need to learn how to time your clutching with your shifting, or adjust your clutch cable.

well...that is known to happen with hardened gears....but if you got oem gears, i would ask them if they for sure replaced the input shaft bearing...also...when the car is idling and the clutch is released, do you hear any kind of noise at all from your tranny, (play around with the pedal while the car is idling...)

They replaced the input shaft bearing along with it with OEM aftermarket syncros, and sliders. I was playing with the car on my way to work and I didn't hear any whining noise. Its been day 2 since I got it back from the shop. No noise at all. Thanks for the help guys!
