my cigarette lighter in my 95 ej1 has not been working for a while now and the constant 12v wire to my stereo is not getting any power either. today i checked the 15 amp fuse that controls both, saw that it was blown, and replaced it but the cigarette lighter is still not working and the stereo wire is only getting like 2v instead of 12v. anyone know what the problem could be?

 

Wierd... Is there any custom wiring from a previous owner near the fuse box?

 

there is an alarm system wired up but im not sure why he would have spliced into that connection

 

any ideas? the only way to figure it out i can think of is taking my entire dash off to see if there is a wire short or something but im not sure if ill have the time to do it this weekend...
