Default Master cylinder and Prop valve ??????

ok so i decided to go with a staging brake for the rears and just run my front brakes off the pedal now to do this would i use the stock Prop valve and master cylinder?? Or do i need a certain kind of master cylinder and prop valve to run only front brakes off my pedal???? for the rear do i need a prop valve if i just use the staging brake as my rears???? or just a Y adapter and go to each caliper

you can run your oem master cylinder still and what most seem to do is get a wilwood or similar adjustable prop valve so you can send the brake bias to the front or rear more or less, however you choose -- setup this way you still have control of all 4 brakes with the main brake pedal but the staging brake will control just the rear when in use and with the prop valve you can adjust the bias to the front if you like for safe stopping.

well i should of thought about my answer a bit more first -- the setup works with an aftermarket adjustable prop valve if you get rid the oem prop valve and lines -- we ran steel braided lines throughout the entire car, got rid of the oem hard lines so that makes it very straight forward to setup

couldnt you just use a line lock?..like the big v8 guys use...insted just hook it up to your rear brakes instead of the fronts like the v8 cars?

The staging brake that you may have, will only work one way. You need to get an inline staging brake. This will allow you to actuate the rear brakes like you want and the main pedal will still activate all 4 brakes. You wanna use a prop valve between your master cyclinder and the staging brake and I even ran a one way check valve from rear staging to rear brakes. This is the same set up that I have in my car.
