Suspension Questions (me = n00b)
Well, I posted a while back about getting a free Accord because my sis crashed it and it was getting fixed for me... and I was going to go looks first and then internals, but now that I think of it there is no point of doing that.
I don't want to go engine upgrades first, I want to build up the suspension... and this is where the question comes in (I DONT KNOW SHEEET) No idea on what are the best or the worst parts, what to upgrade first... bleh.. I need some veterans to give me ideas on what a good suspension set up is (Plus I want to get some better braking power for those future engine mods
)
I have around 4000k in my piggy bank to work with and the car is a 95LX auto 4cyl.
So just bounce ideas around, I'm a n00b and any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

if you want a decent drop that isn't too low for daily driving then get neuspeed/h&r sport springs and koni yellow shocks. you will have a great ride and awesome handling. also, get a neuspeed front upper strut bar and a suspension techniques rear sway bar. i would also upgrade your stock michelin tires to kumho ectsa supra 712 tires.

Koni's for sure. adjustable height. adjustable dampening.
Springs - do the research and get the drop and spring rate you want. you also have the decision between linear and progressive spring rates. progressive are better for everyday driving. linear for even better handling but a you risk comprimising the ride.
Neuspeed front strut bar
Suspension techniques rear sway bar
I also recommend a rear upper strut bar so you can remove the rear frame braces to allow easier adjustment of the Koni's.
Other option: go with KYB AGX shocks (still have adjustable damening but cost less than Koni's) and add a set of coilovers (hint: most every one will recommend ground controls). that way you still have height adjustment.
personal findings: the height adjustment only gets used when you first set it up. you find a hieght you like and you leave it. ask youself if its really worth it.

my neuspeeds are fine, they offer great handling and ride. if you want all out handling with crappy right, get the neuspeed race or eibach sportline springs. don't put down products you have no clue about.
razor, i was simply saying I would prefer eibach. BTW: i have more than a clue about nuespeed. My brother has purchased products from them for his VW of questionable reliability. Ask on VWvortex.com how most of them feel about neuspeed. I am by no means saying their springs are bad, i just offered my opion nothing more nothing less. If you are using nuespeed springs and you like them, great, they just arent my cup of tea.
