ok this might be a redundant question but i have a auto 96 lx civic stock and im thinking of making it stick. now i know that there are a few threads about this but they seem either incomplete or unsure so im wondering if there is a thread that has a really good detailed explanation of this swap and how much it would cost to do it any help would be appreciated and if its not worth it then would it be better to just find a new already stick car.

 

When i first got my dx i was planning on getting an auto to manual swap done, i called a few shops to check prices, and they said that you would basically have to buy a 5 speed parts car, and on top of that, the labor was over $500. I'm not mechanically inclined enough to do the swap myself, so im keeping the automatic.

Easy enough, took 84 hours (including eating sleeping driving to work and working) to do mine. Could pull it off again in a ful day if given the chance.
