How much $ will be involved converting an automatic to a standard tranny.
Hi guys,
I have spent a lot of time trying to find the right EK for B series swap. No luck.
How about getting an automatic, then get the ITR swap with tranny? then how much money and parts to convert to a stick shift??
Thanks
Jack

I paid about $1250 for my auto to manual swap. The parts were $250. The rest was labor. The shop i went to usually charges about $4-$600 for a regular swap. So you figure about $4 or $5 for the conversion. I am in NY though. Lata

cool.thanks for the help... I found a 3500 EG around here. it has 60 K miles, even though it doesn't matter a bit since I will do a swap eventually..
body is in below average shape... slight minor rust... and little fender bender, but doesn't seem like it was in any accidents tho.

Just get all the parts ther we know a guy who owns one and we get a lot fo stuff freee. Its not that had to convert just takes time.
