Please Help, Leaking Coolant
Hi,
I just bleed my coolant system. Now when adding new coolant, I unscrew the bleed bolt from the top of the thermostat, and add from the radiator neck. But before the coolant flows out of the bleed hole a large amount of coolant is leaking somewhere and drips all the way to the floor. It is not from the bleeding hole on the top of the tstat. However when I screw the bleed bolt down the leak stops... Should the bleed bolt be only "slightly" loosened and not fully off? Will it still be able to "flow without bubbles and in a steady stream" as mentioned in the manual. Could the gasket for the thermostat be broken? A cracked hose? Any help would be awsome.
Thanks

Coolant runs everywhere, so there are like 15 different possibilities. Do your best to track down the leak to at least a general vicinity. Without more information, there's no chance of a diagnosis online.
