Default 50mm Tial Bov Q, spring pressures?

They offer different springs per their bov's.

What do I need to know in order to fit the correct spring?

Thanks in advance

I don't have a pressure gauge hooked up yet on the car.

Does it need to be exact?

Most Hondas will use a 7psi spring which should open at around 16" of vac. Most honda pull around 18-22" at idle so that should work well. I had a Tial BOV I think it was an 11psi spring and it opened at 26" of vac and it never opened on the car.

Tial has a chart on there site that give the complete listing.

I just spoke with a reliable source that said 11psi should be what I want.

it really dosnt matter if the bov is open at idle..

the 7psi spring will open sooner, the 11psi spring will open later. either one will "work"
