Default cluster temp guage

I swapped a 04 civic cluster into my buddies ek but cant get temp to work. does anyone know which wire is for temp sender?

The wiring diagram isn't clear exactly which wire carries the signal, I don't think it's as simple as one wire per signal. But I'm really not sure, I've never done that swap.

temp is caried by computer network. i bet your trunk, bat, and brake idiotlights dont work eather. there all on the network.

correct me if im wrong but there should be a wire that goes straight to the guage. if you look the under the distributor there is one wire a female plug that should go to the gauge. I would use a fluke meter have one lead on that female plug and take the other lead behind the guage and touch a few pins until you find continuity, make sure your car is off.
