slow it down hotshot. First off its a d-series, you can do a header and intake but honestly it will still be slow and thats a waste of money (dont flame me people, i love d's haha. I had one check my sig). Im not saying you have to swap it out but to make it "really" it'll have to be turbo/nitrous/supercharged. You just cant get anything out of a stock d that will be "really" fast. Do it once, do it right, build it nice. You can do a reliable turbo d vitara setup for around 3k.

i would get atleast an ls.....and enough time on this website and youll find that you can most likely do your own swap if you try. honda swaps are like leggos man it doesnt take that much mechanical know-how all you need is a socket set, some jack stands and a decent jack and unless your switchin obd....itll just plug right in to your stock harness...just dont for get the ecu

Most of the time when people don't have 3k laying around they do this thing that maybe foreign to you is "save" .. yeah your going no where with your d series engine bro, and pronunciation its Header not Headers..

If you wanna go fast, go b series. Save up for it.. It cannot just be done over night if you have no funds unless you turn into a criminal..

GoodLuck

if u want to make ur car faster than stock u can add:
cold air intake
4-2-1 header
hi-flow cat (dont pollute our air by running a test pipe!)
cat-back of your choice (dont go too cheap!)
cam and cam gear
Get tuned *most important in my opinion. a good tune will sometimes do more than bolt ons.*
Drop some weight *strip what u dont need or want*

but in the end, like these guys said so with some sort of B swap or maybe even a K swap to get some nice HP and TQ if u save enough $$.

A full k swap done right. Will cost you about 7-8k in cali.. and Why waste all that money on those mods when you can just start saving for a b16 ... If your new to tuning and hondas you might as well drive a b16 vtec first...

You will feel like your in a viper....
