Wire up side markers if youre bored !!!!
Well the only reason I'm posting this up is because I'm completely bored. I just finished working on my car and decided to connect back my side markers on my fenders (EJ1 Civic)
Anyways, I didn't want to have just the side marker go on when I had my turn signal on like your typical car. I also didn't want my side markers on all the timemmm. So I decided to go "Hybrid'' by having the side markers on and having them blink whenever my turn signals would be on.
ON MY 94 CIVIC THERE ARE 3 WIRES COMING FROM LIGHT SOCKET, GREEN, BLACK AND ORANGE (SOME CARS MIGHT HAVE A WIRE WITH 2 COLORS, BUT HEY CANT DO THIS FOR EVERY ONES CAR).
HERE IT GOES............................
"JDM" SETUP (SIDE MARKER WILL BLINK WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR TURN SIGNAL ON, LEFT OR RIGHT WHATEVER)
1.Use the "Power'' wire from the side marker and connect it to the ''Green'' wire behind the bulb socket.
2.Use the ''Ground'' wire coming from the side marker and connect it to the ''Black'' wire behind the bulb socket.
TYPICAL "OEM/JDM" SETUP (SIDE MARKERS WILL BE ON ALL THE TIME. WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR TURN SIGNALS ON, THE SIDE MARKER WILL STAY ON ALL THE TIME)
1.Use the ''Power'' wire coming from the side marker and connect it to the ''Orange'' wire behind the bulb socket.
2. Use the ''Ground'' wire from your side marker and connect it to the ''Black'' wire behind the light bulb socket.
THIS IS WHAT I CALL MY ''HYBRID'' SETUP, BEST OF BOTH WORLD! HAHA!! (SIDE MARKERS WILL BE ON AND BLINK SIMULTANIOUSLY WHENEVER YOU HAVE YOUR TURN SIGNAL ON. ALSO BE AWARE THAT YOU NEED TO HAVE THE HEAD LIGHTS/DAYLIGHTS ON. IF YOU DON'T THEN IT WILL BE A REGULAR SO CALLED ''JDM'' SETUP. DON'T WORRY EVERYTHING WILL BE OK UNLESS YOU SCREW UP!!!!!!!!)

I WOULD LOVE TO DO IT FOR ALL THE MAKES AND MODELS FOR HONDAS/ACURAS, BUT I'LL TAkE TOO MUCH TIME. LAST, THE TWO WIRES COMING FROM THE SIDE MARKER CAN BE ANY COLOR YOU WANT AS LONG AS IT'S A WIRE, ONE FOR GROUND AND ONE FOR POWER.
