Restoring window / door trim on EK coupe
Is there anyway to "restore" the trim around the windows/doors? The FL sun has taken it's toll on mine and they are looking faded and dull. Also, there's lots of dry wax from years of waxing the car on some parts of the trim.
Are there any products or procedures that will get the trim looking new/darker and remove dry wax?
Thanks

Are you talking about the weather stripping? If so, I would just replace it, you can find it fairly inexpensive, I actually need to do mine, starting to leak. If you're talking about the rubber coated metal strip that runs along the top of the door from mirror back to the bottom of the window frame, you could try stripping it and painting it, or try rubber undercoating. I would suggest just replacing it if money permits.
I'm not talking about the rubber weatherstipping, I'm talking about the "rough" molding/trim that goes around the 2 rear windows and under the 2 front windows.
^^ Described it as rubber coated metal strip.
I don't think painting it will look good, and I would rather not replace it.
I'm sure there has to be some way/product to spruce it up a bit. Anyone?
