OK my boys got a h22 swap in his eg. Problem is his speedo works half the time. Temp and gas seem ok as well as the milage counter. I think rpm is funky to cant remember. What could cause this. I asked another kid local witht he swap and he said he had to hardwire them to cluster to get them to work right...

 

Well, if you odometer is working while your speedo isnt, you have a bad speedo

 

On both cars. Also how come when hard wired it works??

 

i never had to hardwire anything when i did my h swap 4 years ago, and i didn't have to change anything when I did my H2B setup either...

 

What do you mean by "hard wire" what are you doing exactly to make it work?
