Default battery fuse keeps blowing

cant figure it out and i'm very stumped! i searched all honda tech and had no answers so i was wondering if anyone had this type of problem before. all i did was took my motor out and swapped a gsr trans to a b16 trans. then when i finished putting everything back together the car started but was missing. then i shut if off and started it again then the fuse blew. another thing is i relocated my battery over a year ago and never had any problems but i have a 80 amp fuse there. but back to the problem right when im cranking the motor over after about 6 cranks the fuse will blow. so i looked to see if anything was touching like the starter power and switch and nothing. and it still did it so i took out the engine harness and checked it for burnt wires and any sort of issue and no problems there. so if anyone has and help to offer please help

their is a direct short to ground check the starter cable and make sure its not grounding on the starter body,if thats ok time to start looking at other wire issues.

If it happens only when cranking to start the problem has to be the starter or starter solenoid or load when starting exceeds 80A.

So I understand... you are talking about a fuse you have in the power lead running from your relocated batt. to the starter motor, is that correct?

If so, what gauge is that power lead and what type of fuse are you using?

Have you checked to see what the load is on that power lead with everything off? 94

I swapped starters thinking it was the starter butthe same thing happens. Also I've been jumping from 50,80 and 100 amp fuses and they all blow. I'm assuming its not a short in my engne bay harness cuz wouldnt one of my interior fuses blown but I located another engine harness and I'm gonna swap that to see. But if u got any ideas keep them comming

Same question lina sok has yet to answer, are you talking about the fuse in the power cable from the batt. to the starter motor?

What gauge is the cable?
What amperage is the fuse?
What type of fuse is it? 94

First the fuse should be replaced with a 150A, current capacity of 4ga power cable is 150A.

Do you have 12V+ on the black/yellow lead going to the distributor assembly when ign. switch is in run and start?

Do you have 12V+ at the injectors when ign. switch is in run and start, [the lead that is the same color on all injectors is the 12V+ lead].

Can you hear the fuel pump prime when ign. switch is turned to run? 94

"damn quebec"???
Your going to have the language police on your ***, I am pretty sure that should be "damner Quebec" or "crisse Quebec". 94

PS, I had issues with the lead from my MSD cap to the Blaster coil also, the lead would not fit properly into the cap, and it was from a $150 Sparco set, replace it, and spark plug leads, with a good set of MSD leads and have not had a problem since.
