Im intersted in changing out the 5 speed tranny in my '97 CX to an automatic. My question is would an automatic tranny swap onto it eventhough its 5 speed right now? Also, would i need to get an auto ecu? What would all be needed to do this?

The reason is because I'd be giving the car to my mom and she needs an automatic. Thanks in advance!

Custom mounts for shifter INSIDE car
New console for automatic
New instrument panel if you want it to display gear

And to do it right:

Entire pedal box with NO CLUTCH PEDAL and huge butt brake

It'd be easier to teach her how to drive a manual.
