im involved in dirt track 4 cyl stock car racing...we are now alowed hybrid motors (providing they are bone stock including air filter and they dont excede 3000 cc or are newer than 1994) 2 of my competitors are running 1990 preludes. What can be swaped in without changing mounts (illegal as well) i have access to jdm motors through work and was thinking posibly a jdm f20 but wanted to check with the knowledgable people here since the motor guys dont know **** except codes and prices thanks

what about just a jdm spec B20a, are they any more potent than the US versions?

 

for dirt racing i'd think a b20vtec would rock. nice low end, nice high end, power in the rev range where you'd need it...i'd do that

and u dont think they have any pre 94 b20 vtec's im thinkin the only hope is a jdm f20 or maybe a zc if it lines up.....
