Last I checked, there was no inspection in Eugene either. You only have a smog check if you live in the Portland Metro area or the Rogue Valley. Smog checks here consist of a tailpipe sniff at idle (for OBD1 and older cars) and for OBD2 cars, just a scan for codes. No hood popping or other inspections. Merry fsckin christmas!

I don't know about an import scene since I'm too old for that ****, but I'd say anything would be an improvement over Lodi =P. Nevada is pretty much all desert unless you live up in Tahoe, but there's no work there. Oregon is better, we have trees.

Just about a year ago, I set out on the road,
Seekin my fame and fortune, lookin for a pot of gold.
Things got bad, and things got worse, I guess you will know the tune.
Oh ! lord, stuck in lodi again.

Rode in on the greyhound, Ill be walkin out if I go.
I was just passin through, must be seven months or more.
Ran out of time and money, looks like they took my friends.
Oh ! lord, Im stuck in lodi again.

The man from the magazine said I was on my way.
Somewhere I lost connections, ran out of songs to play.
I came into town, a one night stand, looks like my plans fell through
Oh ! lord, stuck in lodi again.

Mmmm...
If I only had a dollar, for evry song Ive sung.
And evry time Ive had to play while people sat there drunk.
You know, Id catch the next train back to where I live.
Oh ! lord, Im stuck in lodi again.
Oh ! lord, Im stuck in lodi again.

I need to stop drinking so early in the morning.

I live in Medford OR (rogue valley). It's not to bad here.we have DEQ, but like it said. only a sniffer. The scene....is eh, people are here, but most dont like to meet up. There is a auto x track down here(not a cone track) and the drag strip. There's things to do. Just depends who you know.
