Look in the sticky at the top of the forum you posted in. Right from the beginning there is a lot of info on different swaps.

The best swap on a budget is the engine you already have.

Decent horsepower? How about a turbo K24?

Seriously, you have to give us more info. Almost everyone has a budget...except some budgets are $200, and some are $20,000. What's yours? What do you use the car for? What is "decent horsepower" to you? Did you even look at the link I posted?

Yeah i actually just checked out the link right now and started checking a few things out. I mean i love my little engine and wanted to just beef it up a bit nothing to extreme right now. Would you recommend the mini me swap? But then it said it it not friendly with forced induction and i was really leaning towards a supercharger somewhere along the lines. Budget is pretty much flexible around a grand for the engine and whatever else i decide to spend on other accessories just wanted peoples opinions and what they have done and highly recommend. When i say a grand for the engine i just mean the block and head no bolt ons

Basic: D16Z6 swap
Mid: B16A/B20/B18B swap
Nice: B18C1/5

K20/24's fit, but lot more money, fabbing, and worries with fitment. I'm sure it's in the sticky, but there's a quick idea. All above except the B20 are boost friendly without opening it up, for low boost at least. If you know you wanna be a boost freak, go with the D-series, they have been proven to put up with just about anything, or a B16 if you have more patience and budget.

200 hp is either a built B18C1, relatively stock B18C5, or a turbo D16. All of those options have their pros and cons, it's all a matter of what you prefer and what labor talent pool you have available.

One of the best answers i've ever seen to this question

Answer:
125cc Honda dirt bike motor. It weighs under 50lbs, revs to 10000rpms, and makes 320hp/liter.

There, now that we solved the question that is constantly on everyone's mind, let's talk about pizza.

Seriously now, the best engine for your honda is WHATEVER YOU CAN AFFORD TO BUY!

If you have $1000, DOHC ZC.
If you have $2000, get a 1st gen b16a. It'll cost that much to get it in.
If you have $4000, get a GSR/B18C1.
If you have $5500, get a ITR/B18C5.
If you have $10K, and no use for your car for a month or two... get a K20.
Edited for the Whiners:
This is NOT a complete list, as there are mini-mes, LS-VTEC swaps, budget/poor man's ITRs, etc. Use the damn search button a bit more religiously.

What's the best engine for boost... the one that gets TUNED properly.
What's the best engine for drag racing... the one you spend the most money on making FAST.
What's the best engine for road racing... same thing.
What's the most reliable engine... the one you MAINTAIN religiously.
What's the cheapest engine... the one that's in your car.

the d16 you got with your si
is a really great motor. more low end torque than a b16
b16 is a waste of money unless youre going to boost it or build it.
and even then, any b18 would sure beat the hell out of it if you put your time in.
if i were you, and my a6 only had 150k on it
it put a z6 head on it and boost the **** out of it.
that bottom end is AMAZING. the head flow is really great, but the z6 i think is a little better.
OR you can get a b18c/b18c1 with a cable gsr tranny
and have a really great daily drive-able hatch with a still, stock motor.
which, SHOULD be, reliable.
just make sure where youre buying from is legit.
