Default egt probe = screwed

i dropped my manifold off to get drilled and tapped for an egt probe and the shope placed it on the 3rd runner measuring 4th cylinder temps instead 2nd runner which measures 3rd cylinder temps. what can i do or should i jut leave it? what affects will i have on measuring temps? last but not least is this okay?

I thought #1 was in front of the driver, closer to the crank pulley and #4 was in front of the passenger, closer to the throttle body.

That is the firing order right? I thought the cylinders were numbered in order from 1 to 4 starting from the right side of the engine if you are looking at it from the front of the car.

sorry got the firing order messed up with cylinder numbers. anyhow, i guess im measuring the 2nd cylinder temps. vern says its okay so it guess its okay. how off would the egt temp be off comparing the two cylinders?

num 3 is usually the hotest cyl on most hondas and usually the frist to let go. The one you are monitoring should only see minor difference. maybe 25 degrees.

honestly, your EGT temps will be fine, dont worry about it. I have my probe placed after my DP flange and i got good readings, so if mine worked there im sure yours will give theoretically better read outs.
