Default noise

I just put in a new tranny in. Drove it home noticed that it was making some odd noises whenever I let off the gas. It only makes the noise when I'm in gear or shifting. I think that the clutch isn't fully disengaging. It almost seems as though the tranny that I got is a pos.

yeah it sounds like its not disengaging. Try adjusting your clutch cable. It might be the clutch plate grinding on your flywheel. Does it have a sort of screeching sound? It could also be that you didn't adjust the clutch disc to proper specifications.
What stage is it?
