Default HID Conversion?

I have an 08 Si and was thinking about an HID conversion. I was unable to find anything
with the search function and was wondering whether anyone here had made the conversion
and if they were happy with the change. Also, what was the cost and difficulty in installation.

Thanks,

http://www.customlightz.com/

You send them your headlights and you choose projector, housing, shroud, temperature etc. This route is expensive though but you do get what you pay for.

As stated the only way to get a true HID display is with the retrofit. The plug and play units are generic and are not specifically designed for every vehicles head light/projector design.

If the factory beams are not bright enough for you, maybe an upgraded set of bulbs or a set of fog lights would be an option to consider. If your simply looking for the "cool" factor I don't know what to tell you.

I have bought 35w HID kits from eBay,
It works great, but it is not really bright enough.
I would recommend 55w and make sure do an adjusment your headlight.
If not, light will glare and annoying other drivers.

If you have some budget, I would go for retrofit.
retrofit has good focus and light output will go more further than stock headlight.

Not looking for the "cool look" just better lighting. I may go with some new stronger bulbs
though. I think Sylvania makes replacements that would help.
