Default Turbonetics Big Shaft Diameter

I am needing to rebuild a old turbonetics i have. It is smoking when i first start it up. I need to know if i have a standard shaft or a big shaft turbo. Does any one know how i can tell the differents between the two shafts.

Only you can tell that once you've disassembled it. Get measurements and give Turbonetics a call.

IIRC the t04 center housings had either big or small shafts, but the t3 only had the small shaft - which is why the hybrid was possible. Turbonetics are generally modified Garretts.
