So i tried to install my tach today with some friends, and there r 4 wires from the tach, Red, Green, Yellow, and Black. Green goes to the tach, Black is the ground, and Red is ignition and yellow is power, but when we did it Red was the power, when we put the red wire from the tach to a battery wire it worked, and we dont kno what the yellow does, dose any one kno what to do, and i need a diagram for the fuses, so we need some help

dont wire it to the battery...wire it to a 12v ignition source (ie. radio fuse is the easiest way)....

It needs two power sources becuase one is for the lights and one is for the tach power. So you can hook into your cigarette lighter for main power and then hook into a switched dash light for the other power. I used the light that was right above my lighter. It should then work.

My lighter isn't live all the time. It shuts off when I turn off the car. You need to find power that is controled by your ignition switch. That way the tach wont be on all the time.

just plug it into your fuse box....for the tach power, plug it into the radio fuse. for the lights for the tach, plug that wire into the intrument lights fuse.
