garrett t3 ar52 and ar42 cold side

i have garret t3 ar42 cold and 48 hot side and i have also t3 from old volvo with cold side ar52 ( it is not in good condition) so my question is - can i replace cold side with bigger housing from this old t3?

take it apart, measure, try and fit. That's the only way to truly know since one is an OEM application.
