BOTI schedule or rules?
Of course they will still be having a series.
I doubt they will release a "tenative" schedule though.
Tenative would mean that changes can be made to the locations and dates could be made. I think it would **** someone off more to have something change after already planning for an event then to just wait a few weeks for a schedule but thats just me.
As for rules, i'm pretty sure they will be changing all that much. At least nothing drastic like turbo size.

it boggles my mind that battle has such a great opportunity to step it up and be the "big dog" and here we are nearly in January and they have not come out and told anybody anything. not a "here are our plans, here is when we expect to have a schedule ready, kiss my ***"....nothing.
i do know that they have a race schedules at MIR.

For the west coast guys, someone really need to contact the psca and see if we bring a couple classes into their series. I will be in Vegas testing on the 25. I will see who I can talk to about some 300.00 gambler racing.
This would be the perfect for the west coast sport compact guys.
It looks like the PSCA has all the tracks locked up anyway. lol

i believe there was a thread already about rules and schedules. maybe some of you missed it.......
1. rules: it was discussed that it would not be changed.
2: schedule: most of 2009 will be the same. boti is working on having a full schedule up asap. battle is currently waiting on conf with a couple of tracks.
hope this helps.

Parks, Is there any chance or plans of moving the Vegas race to another month other than July, or August? Maybe early spring, or later fall? It seems the East coast gets hit with alot of rain in the spring. That would be a great opportunity. Mix match it up for the whole season, instead of having east first half and west 2nd half.
Tell me about it. We got soo lucky this last event when the monsoon was active. 85-90 degree temps. Which is very unheard of in Vegas in July! 2007 BOTI was in September. That was a great event!

That blue is killing me lol
Jason, it's great the schedule is mocking the same. But our sponsors and prospecting sponsors really don't care about that. They want a firm date, we all trust and know there will be a nice series to race but to them it's all hearsay unfortunately, as I'm sure you know.

im in the middle of trying to get no scatter shield required when using a billet bellhousing, they are actually second thinking it so there is some hope...not that it matters anyways
i havent had much marketing experience with sponsors, but the ones that i have, actually never asked for exact firm dates to a series... if you like to hear my personal opinion on that please pm me ryan. save you time..
anyways,
i will try my best to secure a final schedule from the man and post. im only here to try and relieve some doubt that you guys have with boti. like most of you guys, im in the same shoes as everyone else, im only trying to help out.
i was hoping to see some type of schedule for 09 by now but i see how difficult it is to satisfy everyones hunger to come to each and everyones backyards to hold an event. not only does it have to be cost effective for everyone in this time of tuff economics, but has to make sense for those wanting to follow a series as well.

you might have to contact liberty to see if they would contact the sfi foundation to get the housing cert. then i believe you would be able to pass without a scattershield.

Keep me posted if you could!
