If their are any old schoolers out there that have tuned the accel dfi gen 6 or know anything about it i could use some advice besides get a mega squirt.
I have a .20 over 2.0 16 valve turbo and really want to use the accel. it runs but needs some tunning from some one who knows more than i. Please any thing would get me one step further.

I dont know where to start i can get it to run but its not right. i don't know if my base fuel map is right. and my 3 bar map sensor is reading 14 psi to 18 psi at idle and is a new sensor and when i put a 1 bar on it reads maxed out. is that normal will it adjust.

 

You need to setup the map sensor calibration.
If you can't figure it out I recommend you take the car to a local dyno tuner who can.

 

I didn't see anything in the calmap guide on map sensor calibration. and i live in louisville ky and everyone here thinks they know but really don't. is there anyone you all know who has past experience with accel dfi that i could take my car to and have tuned. i would be willing to tow almost anywhere just to get it driveable. thanks JOE

 

Post up your map sensor voltage charge / relative to pressure.

And see if you can find the map sensor selection screen, see if the voltages are definable and then go from there.

Also make sure your 5V, GND, Sensor, are pinned correctly.

Just in case... have you look under the "global" --> ECU setting and there is a place which you can type in 1, 2, or 3 bar sensor you are using...

maybe that will help.. I'm still running Accel DFI 6 on my car.. nice to find someone on the same boat... it's an old EMS but it works man..!
